DC9 Dynamics Compressor

The Behringer DC9 Dynamics Compressor is a compact guitar effects pedal designed to provide stable dynamics and endless sustain to your guitar by evening out the signal without degrading the original sound. It can also be used to boost the overall volume of your instrument for solo parts. The compressor limits the dynamic range of a signal by attenuating signal peaks exceeding a certain threshold level, with the amount of gain reduction determined by the compression ratio. The result of compression is an attenuation of the difference between the loudest and softest playing, achieving a more powerful and punchy tone.
