The Tonal Recall by Chase Bliss Audio is an analog delay pedal built around a pair of re-issued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips. It offers a maximum delay of 550ms and features tap tempo, optional bypass with trails, expression control over any parameter, and the ability to save presets. The pedal is designed with a digital brain for control, while the guitar signal remains 100% analog throughout. It also includes features such as a low pass filter for delay repeats, mix control, delay time control, regeneration control, rate control for modulation, depth control for modulation intensity, SLB toggle switch for selecting delay chips, and wave shape toggle for selecting modulation wave shape. The pedal is also MIDI- compatible, allowing all parameters to be controlled via control change messages and presets to be saved and recalled with program change messages. Additionally, it offers the option to turn trails on or off and can be used in buffered or true bypass mode. The Tonal Recall is known for its warm, rounded delay tones and its ability to produce a wide range of delay effects, from slap-back to longer delays, with a low noise floor and versatile control options.
