Black Magic MkII

The Black Magic MkII by Crazy Tube Circuits is a high-gain effect pedal for electric guitar that utilizes JFET technology to replicate the signal path and response of a high-gain tube amp. It features cascaded JFET gain stages, offering a versatile sound range from open rock distortion to dark and heavy high-gain sounds typical of stoner rock and metal genres. The pedal includes a 3-band equalizer with controls for bass, mids, and trebles, along with an additional presence controller for sound shaping. It also incorporates a boost footswitch with three assignable functions (gain boost, volume boost, gain/volume boost) to enhance solo performance without the need to adjust settings on the fly. The Black Magic MkII is designed with true bypass and is handmade in Greece. It can be powered via a CC0005925-000 power supply.
