The Creepy Fingers Fuzz Nugget is inspired by the 1.5V powered fuzzes of the 60s, aiming to capture the sound of garage fuzz. Modern improvements include true bypass switching, a 9V power jack, and an LED indicator. The circuit utilizes N.O.S. silicon transistors for temperature stability not found in the original germanium fuzzes. The "bottom" knob allows the fuzz to transition from the thin rasp of the 60s to a more modern low-end heavy sound, with added sustain. The fuzz circuit itself runs on 1.5V for the authentic 60s sound. The transistors have been re-biased for more sustain and gentle gating, providing an old school fuzz texture. The Attack/Fuzz control offers a wide range from low gain to full-on fuzz, and a tone control (Bottom) has been added to adjust the tonal qualities.
