The BitQuest by Dr. Scientist is a digital multi-effect pedal featuring 8 custom-designed effect patches, including flanger, high pass and low pass filters, bit crusher with sample rate reducer, infinite reverb, notch filter, ring modulator, +/- 1 octave pitch shifter/harmonizer, and 1-second digital delay. It operates in two modes, Clean and Dirty, offering expanded control over the effects in the Clean mode and a cool digital distortion control with a noise gate in the Dirty mode.
The pedal features analog controls such as clean blend, volume for wet signal, and tone for wet signal, along with 3 digital controls for the effects. It also includes soft-touch relay switching, a lifetime warranty, and is hand- programmed, hand-built, and hand-shipped.
The BitQuest is powered by 9VDC using a regular 2.1mm center negative plug and requires 75mA of current. It is recommended to use a good, isolated, filtered, and regulated power supply to avoid interference with other pedals.
