The Crystals by Eventide is a dual pitch shifter with reverse delay and reverb functionality. It features two reverse granular delays that can be manipulated by length and pitch. The plug-in is capable of creating out-of-this-world climbing and cascading pitched delays or unique sounding reverbs. It includes two pitch-shifters, each with a four-octave range from two octaves down to two octaves up, two independently adjustable delays, up to 4 seconds each, with their own individual feedback, and reverb with 100 seconds of decay. The innovative RIBBON control allows users to modulate many parameters at once, providing dynamic and fluid control to morph back and forth between the settings of their choice. The plug-in is available for Mac and PC as VST, AAX, and AU plug-in, as well as an Audio Units AUv3 plug-in, Inter-App Audio, and Standalone App. The hardware requirements for Mac include an Intel Core 2 Duo or higher and 4GB RAM minimum, while for PC, it requires an Intel Core 2 Duo / AMD Athlon 64 X2 or higher and 4GB RAM minimum. The platform is 64-bit, and the authorization type is an iLok Account required. The plug-in is compatible with Mac OS X 10.9 or later and Windows 8.1 or later.
