FC-6

The FC-6 by Fractal Audio is a foot controller designed for use with the Axe- Fx III, FM9, and FM3 processors. It offers an array of features and capabilities, incorporating years of innovation and customer feedback. The FC-6 features six SSS™ switches that are extremely quiet and durable, with no mechanical switch contacts to fail. It is housed in a powder-coated 16-gauge steel chassis with durable protective endcaps doubling as feet. The dimensions of the FC-6 are 11.4″ x 9.2″ x 3.5″ (283mm x 233mm x 88mm), and it weighs 6.7 lbs (3 kg).

The FC-6 is equipped with larger and easier-to-read footswitch "mini- displays," with the height of individual characters of text doubling from 4.6mm to 9.2mm, as well as being presented in a bolder and more readable font. The unit also features a 2×20 Transflective Main Display that shows presets, scenes, and more. Each footswitch has its own customizable LCD Mini-Display, and a variable-color LED ring shows the status of on, off, or dim depending on the state of whatever the switch is connected to.

The FC-6 offers plug-and-play with smart default settings, or the ability to create custom layouts. It also supports daisy-chaining up to four FC units for bigger setups. The FASLINK™ II port allows for connecting to an Axe-Fx III, FM9, or FM3, and there is a FASLINK™ II "thru" port for connecting to other daisy-chained FC units. Additionally, the FC-6 has four jacks for connecting expression pedals and another two jacks for connecting up to four external switches.

Overall, the FC-6 is designed to be easy to use while granting extreme flexibility, making it suitable for both stage and studio use.
