Plush Pure Gain

The Plush Pure Gain by Fuchs is a versatile pedal designed for professional use. It incorporates a solid aluminum enclosure with a durable powder-coated finish and premium passive components. The pedal is backed by a five-year warranty.

The Pure Gain pedal features a unique circuit topology utilizing high-gain FETs for low noise and warm tube-like sound. It provides up to 20dB of gain for any input signal and has an input impedance of 1 Megohm, suitable for most guitar or keyboard inputs. The pedal also offers a hard-wire bypass, ensuring no loading of the signal and no active devices in the signal path when not in use.

In unity gain mode, the Pure Gain pedal provides a 1K output impedance, ideal for driving long cable runs or pedals with low input impedance. The booster adds gain only as required, making it the quietest booster available. It allows users to adjust the gain, keeping noise as low as possible.

The pedal can be powered by a 9V battery or a 9V DC adaptor with a 2.1 mm tip negative input. It is essential to use the correct adaptor to avoid potential damage to the pedal. The battery life is approximately 6 months to one year, depending on usage.

The Pure Gain Plus model is a dual gain boost and A/B box, designed based on suggestions made by Dweezil Zappa. It can be used as both a passive A/B box with LED selection indicators and a dual gain booster. The unit can be run passive or active and is built from premium parts for high performance and durability.

The Pure Gain Plus runs on 9VDC, supplied through the internal (supplied) battery, as well as an external adaptor (standard Roland style tip negative 5-MM). This unit can be operated on 18 volts as well, which increases headroom slightly, without damage.

In the United States, Fuchs Audio Technology guarantees the products to be free from defective workmanship or material failure for a period of five years (tubes excluded) from the date of new purchase to the original purchaser. Outside of the United States, the warranty is based on each country's local laws and distributor's policies.
