The Drifter Analog Tremolo by Greenhouse Effects is a powerful tremolo pedal designed to provide a clear and lush analog signal path with expansive waveform controls. It offers seven waveforms, including standard guitar tremolo waveforms and synth-related waveforms such as sawtooth, pulse, and random.
The pedal features three footswitch hold functions, each offering unique
capabilities:
1. Drift Mode: Footswitch Hold spools to maximum RATE (frequency) at a pace
determined by the TIME control. The spool-down to the RATE setting is smooth
upon release, allowing for a range of tremolo effects from gentle to abrupt,
based on user input.
2. Slide Mode: Footswitch Hold ramps to maximum DEPTH at a rate determined by
the TIME control. This function has a complex and exciting interplay with
selected waveforms, adding impact to traditional modes and creating synth-like
effects in square wave and pulse modes. In more exotic waveform modes like
random, the Slide mode can be used as a pathway to chaos, serving as a
momentary effect.
3. Save Mode: Footswitch Hold (when the Drifter is on) saves the existing
setting as a favorite or single preset, allowing the user to retain critical
settings for specific songs or scenarios. This preset is fully adjustable if
any knob is adjusted but can be recalled as saved at any time until
overwritten.
In addition to the footswitch hold functions, the Drifter Analog Tremolo features controls for Rate, Volume, Wave, and Depth. The pedal also includes relay true bypass and operates using a 9V regulated power supply.
The Drifter Analog Tremolo is available in standard green and pink colors, and it is designed to offer a fully immersive experience for players seeking expressive control over tremolo effects.
