The Melody

The Melody by J. Rockett is an EQ/OD pedal with a post-OD EQ. It features a 6-band graphic EQ with 18dB cut and boost on each frequency, providing versatility for solo boosts or compensating for lacking frequencies in a backline setup. The pedal can be used as a stand-alone EQ with volume and no gain, or the gain can be adjusted from a little to a lot. Each frequency slider has 18dB of cut or gain, and the pedal has volume and gain controls.

The 6-band graphic EQ includes the following frequency bands:
- Band 1: 100 Hz
- Band 2: 200 Hz
- Band 3: 400 Hz
- Band 4: 800 Hz
- Band 5: 1.5K
- Band 6: 3.2K

The pedal is designed for use in various musical environments without compromise, offering complete flexibility on stage or in the studio. It can help compensate for lacking frequencies in a backline setup and can be used as a tool for tone shaping and creating unique sounds. The gain range is extremely wide, and the pedal remains musical and feels like a real tube overdrive with sag and thump. The Melody allows for dialing in transparent frequencies or coloring the tone to the extreme.
