Loomer

The Loomer by Keeley is a versatile effects pedal designed to deliver a unique combination of fuzz and reverb. It offers a Muff-Style Fuzz circuit and a Mod section with three reverb modes: Focus, Reverse, and Hall. The pedal features an EXP input for expression control over Depth and an Order switch for selecting the order of Fuzz and Reverb effects in the signal chain. The Loomer is equipped with top-mounted jacks for a compact pedalboard layout and is powered by a regular 9V DC PSU with low current draw.

The Fuzz section of the Loomer provides a distinctive Muffdive fuzz effect, while the Reverb side offers three superbly crafted approximations of legendary reverbs. The Hall reverb provides a super long ambient wash with the ability to add octave regeneration in the feedback loop. The Reverse mode allows users to set different delay times with the Decay control, creating rhythmic reverse effects. The Soft Focus Reverb features a dense reverb with two delays in parallel.

The Loomer also incorporates a unique vibrato feature in the Reverse mode, with an envelope-controlled range running from 0 to 50ms of time shift. Additionally, the pedal includes a Tone control loosely based on the Jazzmaster rhythm tone control with a low pass filter centered at 156.6Hz, allowing for pitch bends similar to playing the trem bar on a Jazzmaster or Jaguar.

With the ability for all reverbs to go All-Wet via the Blend Control, the Loomer approximates the Yamaha FX500 patch, offering a great Soft Focus Reverb experience. The pedal is designed with a 100% analog dry signal path and audiophile-designed input to output, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction.
