The Maestro FZ-1 Fuzz-Tone is a historic and influential guitar and bass effect pedal. Introduced in 1962, it was the first widely marketed fuzz distortion effect and achieved widespread popularity in 1965 after being prominently used by the Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards on the hit song "Satisfaction."
