The Manlay Sound M-200 is a boutique guitar pedal designed to replicate the tone of the early (3 knobs) Marshall Major, also known as "The Pig." This unique 200W amplifier was a key element in creating the legendary Mick Ronson sound. The M-200 replicates "The Pig's" unique tone circuit configuration and is based on a two-way preamp: one for bass and one for treble. These preamps combine to produce different sounds depending on their adjustment position, resulting in the distinctive, penetrating, nasal, and slightly phased sound characteristic of early seventies’ David Bowie records and Mick Ronson's solo albums.
