The Sixties Vibe by MJM Guitar FX is an exact rendition of the original Univibe pedal, utilizing 4 photocells surrounding a pulsating light source to deliver its unique and recognizable sound. The pedal features glass sealed photo cells, NOS Japanese 2SC series transistors, carbon film resistors, high- grade electrolytic capacitors, and NOS film capacitors. It offers a thick chorus/vibrato type of effect, starting with a slow watery swirl and gradually becoming more dynamic as the speed knob is manipulated counter-clockwise. The pedal also includes foot switchable selection between the Chorus/Vibrato mode, an external jack for using a foot-controlled pedal to vary the speed, and a slight volume boost. The Sixties Vibe is designed for fans of Hendrix, Trower, and Pink Floyd, and it is available for purchase directly through the MJM Guitar FX website.
