Nitro Booster

The Rocktron Nitro Booster is a pedal designed to enhance a player's articulation through soft compression and provide over 22dB of gain for intense boosting. It is aimed at guitar players seeking to push their sound to the next level. The pedal is equipped with a single BOOST control knob and a switch for activating the boost function.

The Boost control knob allows users to adjust the level of enhancement and boost. Turning it clockwise increases the amount of boost, while turning it counterclockwise decreases the amount of boost. The Nitro Booster can be powered by a 9-volt battery or an optional 9VDC external power adapter. It features an easy access battery compartment for convenient battery changes during performances and is equipped with a super bright LED indicator to signal when the pedal is activated.

The Nitro Booster is recommended to be placed before all other stomp boxes in the signal chain for optimal performance. It is noted that while it provides up to 22dB of boost, different amplifiers with different settings may yield varying results. Lower settings of the boost control are suggested for additional edge in chordal work or enhanced articulation, while higher settings are recommended for solos or special effects that need to stand out in the mix.
