The Vibe-2 by Shin-ei is a 1960's vintage style chorus-vibrato effect designed with the basic circuitry found in the original Uni-Vibe and Vibe-Bro. It runs on 24 volts DC and comes with its own 24-volt DC wall power adapter. The pedal board-friendly compact design measures 5.5 x 4.5 x 1.75 inches (13.5 x 11.5 x 4.5 cm) and accommodates an optional 1960's vintage style "Double Rubber" speed control pedal (non-canceling).
Key features include:
- NOS Vintage Uni-Vibe style Japanese Miyama Black Chorus-Vibrato switch
- Original vintage style Uni-Vibe circuitry featuring many NOS components
- Two variable speed control knobs
- Face-mounted Bypass-Preamp toggle switch
It is important to note that the Vibe-2 requires a minimum amperage of 400mA when using a 24-volt output. The use of third-party power supplies exceeding 24 volts DC will damage the unit and void the warranty. Additionally, the use of a speed control foot pedal other than an official Shin-ei Vibe-2 speed control pedal will also damage the unit and void the warranty.
The Vibe-2 comes in several colors including standard Machine Gun Gray and Vintage Black, as well as custom colors such as Hot Rod Purple, Voodoo Red, and Mean Toxic Green.
