Description

The Ultraphonix MKII Overdrive pedal by Vertex Effects is designed to re- create the overdrive produced by a Dumble™ Overdrive Special amplifier. It is voiced alongside four Dumble™ ODS amps ranging from 1970's-1990's, capturing the quintessential D*style tone, note bloom, and harmonic overtones. The pedal features 100% Analog Circuitry and Mechanical "True Bypass" Switching. It is assembled in California and operates on 9VDC center-negative power (adapter not included).

The Ultraphonix MKII offers ultimate control of overdrive tone, with extra gain-shaping controls including Master Volume, Input Gain "Level," and Distortion/Saturation "Ratio." It also provides versatile controls to shape tone, such as the "FILTER" knob for sculpting the upper-mids from 800Hz to 1.6kHz. Additionally, it is 33.3% smaller than the original Ultraphonix, offering the same amazing tone in a more compact form factor.

This pedal is suitable for use in front of any clean amp platform, and can be engaged in tandem with another overdrive pedal or in front of a broken-up amp to achieve a huge lead tone or thundering rhythm tone.
