The Doom 2 by 3Leaf Audio is an original fuzz circuit that transforms the input signal into a vintage synthesizer-like sawtooth wave. Unlike most fuzz- style circuits, the Doom 2 responds to the player's technique and retains note dynamics. The version 2 of Doom 2 features a "you're/your" switch, offering classic DOOM sound with strong upper harmonics, a mid-focused sound, and octavia/ring modulator effects in the "you're" mode, while the "your" mode provides a stronger fundamental, more low end, and fewer harmonics, resembling a traditional fuzz.
Additionally, the Doom 2 includes a bass control that acts as a clean volume control or a bass control, depending on the position of the bass/clean switch. It also features a variable mid control, allowing fine-tuning of presence and placement in the mix. The pedal has a full-range output suitable for any instrument, with the standard version optimized for low-frequency instruments like bass guitar and synthesizer. A circuit tuning optimized for the frequency response of guitar speakers will be available in the future.
The Doom 2 has a footprint of 64 x 118 mm and is handmade in Seattle, USA.
