Basstortion

The Basstortion by ZVEX is a bass distortion pedal designed to capture the classic Ampeg SVT tone in a compact enclosure. It offers heavy, primal distortion specifically tailored for use with bass guitars. The pedal features dedicated controls for Volume, Tone, and Drive, as well as a selectable Bright/Dark switch to further shape the tone. The Vexter series pedals feature screen-printed graphics and can be powered by a standard 9VDC Center Negative Supply or a 9V battery. The pedal dimensions are 4.7 x 2.38 x 1.82 inches (LxWxH). The connection between the player's hands and the natural tube distortion is described as primal, immediate, powerful, and musical.
