Description

The AMT Electronics P2 is a two-channel guitar preamp/distortion pedal designed to produce clean and overdriven guitar sounds. It features a compact size of 110 x 62 x 58 mm and operates on 9-12v DC power with negative center (-), compatible with an adapter or battery. The pedal offers three outputs (CAB SIM OUT, PREAMP OUT, DRIVE OUT) for versatile connectivity options, allowing simultaneous use of all three outputs at once. Additionally, it includes optional clean level and clean boost controls when bypassed (only with CAB SIM OUT and PREAMP OUT). The P2 also features LED indicators when the effect is engaged and has low power consumption. The controls include OD LEVEL for adjusting the overall loudness of the pedal output, OD GAIN for adjusting the amount of distortion and drive, HIGH for controlling the amount of high frequency in the signal, MIDDLE for controlling the amount of mid frequency in the signal, and BASS for controlling the amount of bass frequency in the signal. Furthermore, it has CL LEVEL for adjusting the buffer output of the bypassed signal, with 1 o’clock positioning representing standard -10dB level, and a CL BOOST SWITCH that engages a boost of clean signal up to +8dB when the pedal is bypassed, making the pedal a 2-channel preamp. The P2 is part of the Legend Amp Series II and is designed to provide a response, characteristics, gain, and tonal nuances similar to that of Peavey 5150 and 6505 Amplifiers, offering ultimate saturation with harmonics and richness.
