The British Pedal Company Compact Series Zonk Machine is a modern replica of the original Zonk Machine MKI pedal, developed by Wilsic Sound for John Hornby Skewes and produced in Leeds, England from 1965 to 1966. The pedal features an authentic configuration with 3 specially selected transistors, providing a tight fuzz sound with slight but pleasing oscillation. It offers less low-end and more boost than the MKI Tone Bender, and is housed in a diecast case with a blue/green hammerite finish.
