The Warlow by JPTR FX is a premium-quality OP Amp Big Muff pedal that has been meticulously rebuilt to deliver an even bigger, wider sound with more gain and volume. It features a unique filter section that combines classic and Proco Rat filters for a versatile and dynamic sound. The pedal incorporates LED clipping diodes, providing a pronounced low end and a distinctive fuzz effect. The controls include Volume, Tone, and Sustain, with an internal switch to change the behavior of the tone filter between Big Muff and RAT style filters. The pedal requires a 9 to 18 V DC power supply (centre negative, 2.1 mm) with a minimum 50 mA current draw and does not use batteries. The dimensions of the pedal, including all knobs, jacks, and footswitch, are approximately 12 x 15 x 6 cm. The Warlow is designed to capture the raw, wild sound of the Seattle music scene and is suitable for players seeking gritty grunge riffs or soaring solos. The pedal's backstory involves being rebuilt using a vintage Big Muff from the same release date as the Siamese Dream album, adding a rich history and character to its sound. JPTR FX stands behind the handmade quality of their pedals with a lifetime warranty under normal use.
