Description

The Acoustic GiG by Carl Martin is a multi-effect pedal designed specifically for acoustic guitars. It features an award-winning Compressor/Limiter circuit with individual controls for compression and level, making it simple and easy to operate. Additionally, it includes a Vintage Style Echo with controls for level, tone, repeat, and tap-tempo, along with a 'Dotted 8th Note' switch for musical echo effects.

The pedal also incorporates a new Analogue/Digital Hybrid Reverb tailored after vintage-style spring reverbs, providing a shimmering yet warm reverb with the added bonus of becoming a modulation/chorus/reverb texture at higher settings. The Boost function allows for a crystal-clean volume increase of up to 15dB for solos without altering the tone or increasing 'quackiness' from piezo pickups.

To shape the EQ effectively, a high-quality semi-parametric EQ is included, allowing for specific tone shaping from the guitar and pickup. The Acoustic GiG also features a Phase Shift switch to efficiently avoid potential feedback, a tuner, and an overall mute switch.

On the back panel, all necessary connections are available, including a 1/4” input, unbalanced ¼” output, high-quality balanced XLR out with ground lift, an insert section placed after the boost and before the EQ section, and a 9V DC input with a direct DC output for an extra pedal if needed.

The specifications for the Acoustic GiG are as follows:
- Net Weight: 1.25 kg
- Gross Weight: 1.57 kg
- Net Size (L-W-H): 365-120-60 mm
- Packing Size (L-W-H): 505-135-70 mm
- UPC: 852940000929

The price for the Acoustic GiG is €579.00 (EU incl. VAT) and $699.00 (USA/Non EU).

Overall, the Acoustic GiG is designed to provide high-quality, straightforward, and easy-to-use effects and preamp for acoustic guitars, suitable for live performances and studio use.
