The TOD (Transparent Overdrive) by Carl Martin is a high-gain overdrive pedal designed to replicate the sound achieved by Dizzy Mizz Lizzy guitarist Tim Christensen's rig, which featured a Boss Turbo Overdrive into his Marshall Stack. The pedal is housed in a compact, pedal-board friendly die-cast case with 4 knobs and one switch.

- The Level knob adjusts the overall output level of the TOD.
- The Drive knob adjusts the amount of overdrive from light crunch to maximum overdrive with loads of sustain.
- The Edge knob is a midrange/presence filter, allowing control over midrange frequencies and presence.
- The Tone knob is a high cut filter, allowing fine-tuning of tone by filtering out high frequencies.
- Bypass switch button with active buffered output and red LED indicator.
