It features hand-built boutique quality throughout, true bypass, point-to-point wiring, and best-in-class Neutrik brand jacks and Alpha brand pots. The pedal can be powered using a standard center negative "Boss style" 9v jack or an internal battery. The original circuit, reproduced in the Gray Speck, is known for being the favorite of guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen and many others. The current draw for the pedal is 2mA.
