Overdrive Special

The Overdrive Special by Cornell, developed by D.C. Developments, is a versatile pedal with a wide range of tones, from clean boost to large amounts of distortion. It operates as a dual-mode distortion/overdrive pedal with an additional boost mode that can be used to drive either of the two channels, offering a total of four actual modes. The pedal is highly touch-sensitive and responds well to the guitar's volume control. It operates on 9VDC and features true bypass switching. Housed in a polished stainless steel casing, the pedal has a classic look and feel with chickenhead knobs. The Overdrive Special offers the following modes of operation:

- Ch1 Clean Boost
- Ch2 Crunch
- Boost > Ch1 Heavier crunch Tones
- Boost > Ch2 Solo Lead Tones
- Tone switch offers an additional amount of top end when selected
