The Ten Tone Fuzz by Daredevil Pedals is a silicon fuzz pedal commemorating 10 years since the birth of Daredevil. It features a custom-built aluminum enclosure by Hammond Mfg exclusively for Daredevil, making it heavy-duty and ready for a lifetime of stage abuse. The pedal is hand-wired inside, with individually tested silicon transistors and unique asymmetrical clipping.
This pedal is designed to run on a 9V battery or DC power source with a negative pin (ground) of 100mA minimum and has true bypass switching. It features a single volume knob to control the crunchy wall of fuzz, which is biased according to a 9V DC supply. The Ten Tone Fuzz has a slightly gated fuzz tone, is big and aggressive, cuts through, sustains into feedback, and can grind with the best of them.
For best performance, it is recommended to use a high-quality isolated power source, as individual wall plugs or cheap power adapters may cause unwanted noise or potential damage.
The Ten Tone Fuzz is available for purchase at a price of $189 and is hand- built in Chicago.
