The Tremulator by Demeter is a pedal designed to emulate the classic Fender tremolo effect, also known as vibrato. It features "lopsided" amplitude modulation with a rounded off triangular modulant waveform, providing the classic effect found on many vintage amps but with less noise and hum and a greater range of speeds and depths. The pedal has two controls: Depth and Speed, allowing users to adjust the amount of amplitude modulation and the frequency of the low-frequency oscillator, respectively. Additionally, it includes a footswitch to bypass the effect, an LED to indicate effect operation, and a trim pot to set the bias for the optical unit. The unit operates on a 9-volt DC power supply, either external or internal using a 9-volt battery. The Tremulator is hand-built in the USA and is designed for trouble-free operation.
