Description

The Disaster Area Designs NNB Neunaber Expanse MIDI Bridge is a compact interface designed to control Neunaber Expanse Series pedals via a MIDI controller. The NNB connects to the ExP port on the rear of the Expanse Series pedals and is powered by the pedal itself using a provided CAT5 cable. It offers various functions, including effect selection, preset morphing, and control of each knob on the pedal using dedicated MIDI CC messages. The NNB also works with the Expanse software for effect selection and customization. It features a sturdy cast aluminum enclosure measuring 3.6″ L x 1.5″ W x 1.4″ H, a 1/4″ MultiJack that operates as an expression pedal input, footswitch input, or MIDI output, and a MIDI jack that functions as MIDI input and output using a MIDI-Y cable. Additionally, it includes a mini-USB port for firmware updates and USB MIDI functionality. The NNB has three operating modes, each changing how the built-in footswitch or side switch functions, and the MultiJack has three available settings: Expression Input, Footswitch Input, and MIDI Output. Advanced MIDI control commands are also supported by the NNB.
