The Flatiron Fuzz by Electro-Harmonix is a classic op-amp powered fuzz/distortion pedal with a late '70s style circuit and symmetrical hard clipping. It is designed as EHX's take on the RAT2 pedal, offering versatility and a range of tones. The pedal features three controls: Volume, Drive, and Filter. The Volume control sets the output level, while the Drive control adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion. The unique Filter control acts as a low pass filter with a movable cut-off frequency, allowing users to dial in the desired amount of high-end, from dark to raunchy. The pedal is powered by a 9V battery (included) or an optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter (not included). Its dimensions are 4.5 x 2.75 x 2.1 inches, and it has a current draw of 5mA. The Flatiron Fuzz was released in 2018 and is named after the historic Flatiron Building in New York City, located near EHX headquarters in the 1970s.
