Description

The Electro-Harmonix Riddle is a powerful and precise envelope filter designed for guitar frequency response. It offers a frequency response tailored for guitar ranging from 80 Hz to 5 kHz. The pedal features optional expression pedal control, a fully-analog circuit, and switch-selectable analog distortion designed for guitar. Users can control the filter sweep with their foot by plugging in an optional expression pedal. The Riddle also provides the ability to adjust Q, sweep range, and filter type, making it one of the most versatile wahs available.

Additional features include start and stop sweep control, low pass, band pass, and high pass filter select, separate dry and effect outputs, and a 9.6VDC 200mA power supply included. The dimensions of the pedal are 4.75 inches (width) by 5.75 inches (length) by 2.5 inches (height), or 146mm (width) by 121mm (length) by 64mm (height).

The Riddle is known for delivering tight and smooth control over the complete frequency range, with a consistent and even sweetness. The analog distortion feature allows users to dial in anything from subtle bite to dominating crush, adding versatility to the pedal's capabilities.
