Sidecar

The Sidecar by Hudson Electronics is a high-quality overdrive pedal designed with specific technical specifications. It is a modified version of the classic 808 overdrive, offering a bigger low-end, wider gain range, and greater headroom. The pedal features a pair of germanium diodes in the clipping section, chosen for their 'softer' response characteristics, which retain the player's dynamics and feel.

- POWER: Standard 9-24 volt DC regulated power supply with a 2.1mm negative tip barrel. Running at higher voltages provides more headroom, less distortion, and less compression and sag, making it suitable for use on bass, baritone, and low-tuned guitars

The powerful two-band Baxandall equalizer section follows the drive section and provides up to 15dB of cut and boost of the high and low bands, allowing users to sculpt their tone while remaining musical at all times.

The Sidecar is versatile, covering classic overdrive and distortion, and at extreme settings, it can also produce fuzz and boost effects.
