gbQ Distortion / EQ / Enhancer Pedal

The Joemeek gbQ Distortion / EQ / Enhancer Pedal is a versatile signal processing pedal designed for guitar and bass. It features a high-impedance FET Class-A preamp with up to 20dB of gain, allowing for clean enhancement or both odd and even harmonic distortion control. The pedal includes a unique "Structure" control for additional tone shaping, a 3-band swept MeEQualizer that can be positioned pre or post distortion, and a master volume control. The pedal also offers an overall bypass switch, send and return jacks, a DI output with ground lift, and a headphone output.

The distortion section provides separate control over odd- and even-harmonic distortion generation, with the odd section producing sustaining overdrive and the even section providing an enhancer-type effect. The pedal also includes a switch for soft or hard clipping, an overdrive pre- or post-EQ switch, and a ground-lift switch. The 3-band EQ section features three sweep "bell" filters with preset bandwidths, offering up to 15dB of cut or boost per band.

The pedal can be powered using an external power supply delivering between 9 and 18V DC or AC at 270mA or greater. It has a 6MΩ guitar input and outputs on jack and balanced XLR. Additionally, it includes a quarter-inch headphone outlet and a pair of send/return jacks for connecting additional processors.
