Dark Blood Distortion

The Dark Blood Distortion by KHDK is a high-gain pedal designed to deliver an angry, merciless amp-like distortion with a tube-like and mid-heavy tone. It is built on KHDK’s original circuit combining solid-state and MOSFET technology, with a treble booster added to the front end of the circuit to push the tone to the limit.

Key Features:
- GAIN: Controls the gain of the circuit, offering pick-sensitive tones with excellent dynamics at lower settings and massively overdriven tones at higher settings.
- DOOM: Determines the amount of low-end grunt present in the tone, ranging from tight bass to long sustain for a liquid, solo-ready tone.
- VOLUME: Sets the output volume of the pedal.
- TREBLE: A passive, natural-sounding low-pass filter that cuts high-end frequencies and offers a wide frequency range for tonal shaping.
- HI/LO Switch: Offers a lo setting for chunky overdrive ideal for rhythm playing and a hi setting for added saturation, sustain, low-end, and compression, recommended for soloing.
- GATE: Controls the background noise of the tone, allowing the stronger gain signal to pass while blocking weaker humming or hissing.
