The Grindstein by Klirrton is a death metal preamp pedal designed to deliver dirty and fuzzy death metal tones from the 90s into the modern age. It faithfully models the original hardware and offers two mixable channels: Bottomshaker and Chainsaw. The pedal features a built-in boost based on the Lichtbringer circuit, a phase switch for out-of-phase supergrindy sound, a 3-band EQ on the Chainsaw channel, and a 2-band EQ on the Bottomshaker. Additionally, it includes a noise gate based on the Schnauze circuit, a 5-band Fleisch EQ with carefully selected boost and cut bands, and a cab simulator with 7 speaker combinations selected by Kris Kohle. The Grindstein also offers a standalone version.
