Seventy4 by LPD Pedals is available in two versions: the Seventy4 Deluxe and the Seventy4. The Seventy4 Deluxe is an all-analog, two-channel overdrive preamp pedal designed for musicians seeking 70’s era British style tones in a versatile dual-channel package. It features a straightforward layout with individual Level, Gain, and Voice controls for tailoring the individual channels to performance demands. The global EQ provides Bass, Mids, Treble, and Presence for both the Red and Green channels. The Red channel features LPD’s original Seventy4 circuit, capturing the immediacy and intensity of a golden era British full-stack amp. The Green channel is an all-new design specifically made to complement the original Seventy4 (Red) channel, adding low-mid girth to the pedal’s sonic profile. Each channel has a new Voice switch, which brings two individual tone foundations per channel, increasing versatility. The pedal operates at 9 volts and 30mA, with dimensions of 4.75”L x 3.75”W x 2”H and a weight of 14oz (395g).
The Seventy4 is an overdrive pedal that combines amazing mids, sweet harmonic overtones, presence for days, and a lush underbelly of lows that can be tuned to match any rig. It offers true bypass operation, operates at 9 volts and 20mA, and has dimensions of 4.5” x 2.375” x 2” and a weight of 9oz (255g). The pedal aims to capture the late Plexi/early master volume Marshall era amplifier in a box, providing a tone reminiscent of the iconic Marshall amps from 1974.
Both pedals are made in Mesa, Arizona, USA, and are designed to deliver vintage '70s tones with modern functionality, making them suitable for a wide range of musical styles and use-cases.
