Super Black

The Mad Professor Super Black is a vintage Blackface Fender amp in a box with a boost. It replicates the entire amp signal path, allowing users to easily turn their amplifiers into vintage '60s Fender glory. The pedal can also be plugged into the return jack of an amp's FX loop to bypass the preamp and achieve the sound of a full Blackface amp signal path without the color of the amp's preamp.

- Voltage range: 8V-16V (bigger headroom will be obtained by using higher voltage)

Controls:
- Middle and Treble: Adjustments for the amount of middle and high frequencies in the preamp section
- Bass: Adjusts the amount of low frequencies
- Presence: Adjusts the amount of high frequencies at pedal output
- Gain: Adjusts the amount of distortion in Blackface side
- Drive: Adjusts the amount of distortion in Sweet Honey side
- Volume (x2, one for Blackface side and one for Sweet Honey side): Sets the output level
- Bass Cut Switch: Full bass level on the left and slightly cut low bass on the right
- Compression Switch: More compression on the left and less compression with maximum dynamics on the right

The pedal also features two mini switches for bass and compression, allowing users to tailor these characteristics. Additionally, it includes the Sweet Honey Overdrive circuit to boost the front end of the Super Black, providing more possibilities for fine-tuning overdriven tones with other gear.

The Super Black is a versatile pedal that delivers the punchy, mid-scooped, and sparkling chimey clean tone that Fender Blackface amplifiers are known for. It also produces beautiful and amp-like breakup tones, making it easy to achieve the iconic Fender sound at any volume while retaining full clarity.
