The Explorer by Spaceman Effects is a six-stage optical phaser pedal designed for creating a wide range of phase tones. It features an input resistance of 1 Meg Ohm, with a bypass current draw of 28.5 mA and an engaged current draw of 30 mA. The pedal operates within an input voltage range of 9V to 24V DC. The Explorer offers manual control over frequency and includes five LFO wave shapes: Sine, Triangle, Square, Saw-Up, and Saw-Down. Additionally, it provides the option for expression pedal/CV input for hands-free frequency sweeping. The pedal is hand-wired in Portland and is designed to be durable and long-lasting.
