Destination Phase

The Option 5 Destination Phase is a stereo phase shifter with entirely analog circuitry and true panning capabilities. It offers the following technical specifications:

- Input Impedance: 1 Meg Ohm
- Output Impedance: 1 K Ohm
- Bypass: Non-Tone-Sucking Bypass
- Voltage: 9 Volts DC, center negative
- Power: Can be powered from any regulated 9 Volt DC, center negative supply
- Controls:
- Speed: Sweeps at a rate determined by the position of the Speed knob, with the ability to control the speed of the sweep.
- Depth: Controls the amplitude of the phase notch, allowing for gentle blending of the amount of phasing.
- Regeneration: Feeds a portion of the phase signal back into the phasing circuitry, making the phase effect deeper and introducing a toothy, whistling effect.

The pedal is designed to be smooth and luscious, offering a slow sweep at fully counter-clockwise, and the ability to gradually remove the phasing sound with the Depth control. The Regeneration control increases the amount of feedback and whistle.

The Destination Phase is a fairly straightforward unit to set up and operate, suitable for mono or stereo setups. It can be powered by a 9-volt battery or a 9-volt adapter.
