The Wren and Cuff Eye See Pi Op-Amp Distortion is a pedal based on the legendary op-amp fuzz popularized by Billy Morgan from 1978. It features a drastically different clipping section for a monstrously woolly sound, making it crunchier and more 'ballsy' than a standard Muff circuit. The pedal includes a tone bypass switch that removes the passive tone stack from the circuit for a volume boost and a significantly more raw and open sound. The design is analog, with mono input and output. The pedal features controls for Volume, Tone, and Distortion, as well as a True Bypass switch. It operates on a 9V DC power supply with center-negative polarity, with a power consumption of 5.5 mA. The pedal can also be powered by a 9V battery. The dimensions of the pedal are 6.8” x 5.5” x 2.2-1.4” and it weighs 2.3 lbs. The Eye See Pi Op- Amp Distortion is designed to be a largely-untamed IC-based fuzz and distortion machine, adaptable to most genres of music.
