Description

The American Geek by Zander Circuitry is a high-gain fuzz pedal with a range of features and controls for versatile tone shaping. The pedal offers precise control over the EQ with two extra Shift controls that alter the capacitance of the tone stack, providing more control and creativity. It also features a signature diode rotary switch, allowing users to choose between eight clipping types for added versatility, including Germanium, Asymmetrical Germanium, Silicon, Asymmetrical Silicon, LED, Asymmetrical LED, Transistor/MOSFET, and No diodes.

The pedal includes a Blast footswitch that turns the drive all the way up and activates a second volume control for seamless transitions between low and high-gain sounds. It also offers momentary and latching switching for engaging effects.

The specific controls on the American Geek are as follows:
- Gain: Gain control
- Tone: EQ for the output signal
- Shift 1: Tone shift high pass
- Shift 2: Tone shift low pass
- Level: Output volume
- Blast: Output volume (in Blast mode)
- Rotary: Clipping diode selector

The pedal is powered by a 9V DC (center-negative) supply with a current draw of 126 mA. It is designed with top-mounted in/out jacks and has dimensions of (W)67 mm x (L)122 mm x (H)60 mm.
