Description

The DOD Meatbox is a subharmonic synthesizer and octaver pedal designed to add a massive low octave to guitar or bass signals. It features controls for output, octave, low, and sub, allowing for experimental knob-twiddling to create a variety of low-octave sounds, from traditional octave divider tones to uncontrollable walls of sub-noise. The pedal's simple control layout encourages hands-on experimentation for generating unique and chaotic low-end effects. Additionally, the Meatbox offers enough output to provide a convincing boost and can be used as an "inspiration machine" for creative sound manipulation. The pedal also includes a TRS output for splitting the subharmonic synthesized signal to a P.A. system. The DOD Meatbox is known for its classic sonic glory and is suitable for bassists, guitarists, and synth enthusiasts looking to enhance their tracks with booming low-end presence.
