The Cadavernous Reverb by Blackout Effectors is a supremely sublime ambient reverberator that can produce a tasty spring and room reverb. It features separate controls for Swell (knob and footswitch), Regeneration, Dampen, Reflections, Dry Mix, and Reverb. The Swell controls the sensitivity of the Swell footswitch, determining the speed and strength of the swell effect. The Regeneration knob is the feedback control, adding varying amounts of the reverb signal back to the beginning of the reverb circuit. The Dampen control is a low-pass filter in the reverb path, allowing for EQ shaping and the ability to create darker or brighter reverb tones. The pedal also offers flexible expression pedal integration, assignable to several controls via internal DIP-switches, and a momentary Swell footswitch for momentary feedback blasts or tasteful additions of more coolness.
