The Buffalo FX TD-X is a handcrafted equalizer/gain booster pedal designed with high-quality components and true bypass functionality. It features gain, level, bass, and treble controls, along with top-mount power and signal jacks. The pedal is equipped with a low current dimmable LED and requires a 9V center negative power supply or 9V battery for operation. Its dimensions are 120 x 95 x 35mm (4.7 x 3.7 x 1.5 inches) for the enclosure only. The TD-X is known for its faithful sonic replication of a well-known valve-powered pedal, with a two-band EQ tweaked for less harshness and fizz at lower volumes. Additionally, it offers additional headroom, allowing it to be used as a clean boost to push a tube amp to its sweet spot or to produce musical overdrive for a natural tone into a clean platform. The pedal is made in France and is a revamped version of the BK Butler Tube Driver.
