The Death By Audio Exploding Head pedal is a triple delay dream maker/destroyer system in an ultra-small footprint. It features three delays connected in series with individual controls over delay parameters, including multi-tap echoes, feedback, noise, slapback, and swells. The pedal allows for the creation of otherworldly soundscapes and offers ultimate control over the delay behavior.
Key Technical Specifications:
- Dimensions: 5.06” x 2.58” x 2.45" (including hardware)
- Weight: 9.8 oz
- Power: 9V DC (runs on standard 2.1mm negative center 9V DC adapter)
- Current Draw: 70 mA
Controls:
- TIME: Controls the time of each delay, from approximately 10ms to 600ms
- FBACK: Controls the number of repeats for each delay
- BLEND: Controls the volume of each delay section
- INFINITY SWITCH: Momentarily feeds the output of the third delay to the
first delay, creating a multi-delay feedback network around the individual
delays. The first (BLACK) Blend knob controls the volume of this feedback.
Additional Features:
- Knob-per-function design for quick changes in delay behavior
- Stereo output section for wide stereo spread
- Momentary footswitch for dynamic swells, bursts of noise, or to slowly
build massive walls of sound
The pedal offers a unique and versatile delay experience, allowing users to create a wide range of delay effects and soundscapes.
