The Speed Tripper by Death By Audio is a collaboration between Death By Audio and Levitation, offering a unique combination of reverb and delay effects. It features an optical phaser placed in the feedback path of a delay circuit, resulting in incredibly unique and psychedelic soundscapes. The repeats bend in and out of phase with one another, creating filtered, morphing swells that go beyond traditional delay effects.
Key Features:
- Delay Time: Controls the length of the delay, ranging from approximately
30ms to 1100ms.
- Feedback: Controls the amount of feedback from the delay output back to its
input, highly interactive with the intensity control.
- Tripper Speed: Adjusts the speed of the LFO, controlling phase shifting for
oceanic movement or spiraling chirps and warbles.
- Intensity: Modulates the amount of delay being sent through the phase
network, affecting the oscillation point of the pedal.
- Blend (Internal): Sets the volume of the delayed signal relative to the
clean signal.
Specifications:
- Dimensions: 4.88” x 3.68” x 2.15” (including hardware)
- Weight: 9.5 oz
- Power: Requires a standard 2.1mm, 9v, center-negative DC power supply,
consuming roughly 50mA.
