The DigiTech Bass Driver X-Series Overdrive/Distortion pedal features three different bass overdrive distortion pedal models that can be morphed to create new multi-model bass overdrive sounds. The pedal includes controls for Level, Tone, Blend, and Morph. The Level control adjusts the overall effect level, while the Tone control uses special Spectral-Contouring equalization to adjust a broader range of frequencies, providing greater tonal control than typical stomp box tone controls. The Blend control adjusts the mix of the dry signal with the affected signal, and the Morph control selects or morphs through three overdrive models, including the TS9 Tube Screamer, the Rat, and DigiTech's DigiFuzz.
The pedal also features dual outputs. The Normal output is for connecting directly to the input of a bass amplifier, while the Mixer output utilizes CIT and is for connecting directly to a mixing board or headphone preamp.
Additionally, the pedal is capable of creating different flavors of overdrive with ease, discerning and reproducing low-end decently, and adding the effect without destroying the original sound. The pedal is powered by a 9V Alkaline Dry Battery or an optional PS200R power supply, with a power consumption of 4.8Watts.
Overall, the DigiTech Bass Driver X-Series Overdrive/Distortion pedal offers a range of versatile features and controls for bass overdrive and distortion effects.
