It features three gain stages, a noise gate, and optimized tone controls, making it suitable for any style of rock or metal. The pedal is built with low noise circuitry and components to minimize hum and buzz, and it includes a noise gate control with linear taper potentiometers for smooth gating adjustment.

Additionally, the Torsion has an aggressive low-pass filter at the power supply input to eliminate ripple frequency, a two-stage RF rejection filter to eliminate external radio frequencies, and adjustable midrange frequencies to keep your tone prominent in a band mix. The Tilt control allows for attenuation of highs or lows without compromising the overall tone, and the Gain control functions as a fine-tune adjustment for the fuzz tone.

The Volume control includes a built-in output buffer with a high-quality 10K ohm impedance to ensure proper signal transmission to the next pedal or amplifier input. The pedal operates on standard center-negative 9V power supply and has a durable printed circuit board built to last.
