The MXR Dyna Comp Compressor, model M102, is a popular compressor pedal known for its ability to tighten up your signal, add rich sustain, or create the percussive and clicky sound heard on numerous hit records. It can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso- Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included).
The pedal features an input impedance of 1 MΩ, output impedance of 10 kΩ, nominal input level of -5 dBV, and nominal output level of -12 dBV. The noise floor is rated at 95 dBV. The pedal is built around the rare CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuit (IC), which yields quieter operation, greater transparency, and increased dynamic range. Additionally, it includes a bypass status LED and AC power jack for modern gigging convenience.
