Description

The Long Life Parametric EQ by Fairfield Circuitry is a state-variable filter with a wide range of applications. It combines tilt and notch/boost equalization around a 2nd-order (-12dB/octave) state-variable core. The pedal features a shelving filter, from low-pass to high-pass, and includes CV inputs for resonance (Q) and frequency (F). It also offers V/octave scaling synthesizer interface and fully variable Q that can go into self-oscillations. The pedal has a soft clip zener zesty mordant and an expression pedal input that controls the center frequency. It can be used for flexible tone stack tuning, stacking before/after other pedals, standalone channel strip EQ, and integrated with a modular synthesizer mindset, acting as a VCF and a VCO. The Long Life Parametric EQ is made in Canada and weighs 360g with dimensions of 95 x 122 x 50 mm. It operates on 9-15V DC center negative power supply, consuming 150 mA.
